In attendance – Samantha Cutlip, Wendy Schumacher, Cindy Avery, Maggie Avery, Tom Avery, Terra Cutlip, James Moffitt, Fr. Dan Weir, Amanda Sczczepanski, Kelly Sczczepanski, Lois Carter, Katelyn Koziel, Rachel Haseley, Nick Hurd, Mindy Brock and Jenn Brock.

Items discussed:

Junior High Event Feb 19-20

It is an event not a reunion and therefore open to lots of youth of that age. Activities should include a variety of games (but not games like sardines – too many hormones!), arts and crafts, new games, board games and singing. Food for dinner will be pizza. Event will run from 6 PM Saturday to 10 AM Sunday followed by worship. Check with Youth Missioner about follow up with postcards and flyers to make sure everyone is aware. Youth Commission is invited to attend. Schedule for event was created.

Bishops Ball – Feb 8 7-10 PM at Calvary Williamsville. Nick and Liam will handle music, folks who want to decorate should show up at 6 PM with take down of decorations at 10 PM Dress is semi-formal, admission is $5. Suggestion made of getting cardboard cut out of Bishop since he will be unable to attend. Lois will look into it at Kinkos.

EYE – need to start fund raising! Adults will meet without youth next week. Sam Perry and Rachel Phillippi get covered by their churches.

Youth Commission Retreat – April 15-16 Not canceled just postponed till April. Motion made to make cost $10 by Lois seconded by Terra and was passed. Signed permission slips will be required, plus $10 and a snack to share. Retreat begins at 7PM. Need for worship, could include morning prayer and new Bible study ideas. Youth Missioner will need to do publicity.

Discussion of whether a new location for Commission meetings needs to be considered. Question of whether there was an easier to get to/more central location. James suggested a survey, Youth Missioner could float idea through e-mails, newsletter or ChurchActs. For the moment decision was made to remain at St. Mark's Orchard Park.

Meeting to be held Jan 29 at Sharry's house about Happening and other youth stuff 6:30 -10/11PM.

James Moffitt moved to adjourn, seconded by Maggie Avery. Meeting adjourned.
